Zone

Tennis-specific strength, movement and recovery — the engine room behind longer rallies and injury-free seasons.

03 — Built for Performance

Train the Way Tennis Demands

Tennis is bursts, brakes and rotations — so our gym skips the queues of machines and focuses on what transfers to court: sled lanes for first-step power, cable stations for rotational strength, plyometric flooring, and a dedicated mobility corner with bands, rollers and sticks.

Cardio tennis classes run here three mornings a week, and every member gets a free movement screen plus a starter program from our strength coach each year.

Strength

Dumbbells to 40kg, trap bars, sleds and cable stacks — programmed for rotational power, not mirror muscles.

Movement

Agility ladders, hurdles and a sprung movement lane for split-steps, recovery steps and change of direction.

Recovery

Compression boots, stretch stations and a physio room next door — because availability is an ability.

Fitness Questions

A coach is on the floor for all timetabled classes, and weekday mornings carry a staffed open-gym block. Outside those hours members train independently after a safety induction.

We work alongside local physiotherapists and will adapt your starter program around any restrictions. Bring your rehab plan and we’ll build from it.

Juniors 12 and up use the zone in supervised athletic-development squads focused on coordination and bodyweight strength. Under-12s train through games-based movement on court.
